Aruba - Why I Can't Wait To Go Back!

Just over a year ago, my husband and I were in Aruba on our honeymoon - a place we definitely plan on going back to & hopefully soon!  One of the reasons why we chose Aruba was because the weather is always perfect.  Every day was in the mid-80s with a wonderful breeze (average temperature is 82 degrees).  With it being outside of the hurricane belt, you can go anytime of the year without worrying.

Another reason why we chose Aruba was because there is so much to do!  Whether you go for a romantic getaway for two, or for a family vacation, the options are endless.  One of our favorite times were our dinners right on the beach, enjoying amazing food as we watched the beautiful sunset every night.

One of the activities we did while we were there was parasailing.  We were picked up at the beach by a boat and were able to take a nice ride to the parasailing boat off in the distance.  It was so exhilarating as we lifted off the boat and begin to ascend.  We could see the entire shoreline of the island - and I even spotted a couple of sea turtles below us!  I would definitely recommend this activity in Aruba - and I am not even the biggest fan of heights!

Another activity we did was a half-day snorkeling trip in which we were taken by a catamaran to three different snorkeling spots.  We loved the catamaran ride, and the snorkeling spots were amazing!  From seeing all the different kinds of fish and reefs, to a sunken ship, it was definitely exciting.  We were even provided both breakfast and lunch!  And if you aren't into snorkeling, there are also just catamaran rides - evening dinner rides.  On our next trip, I definitely will want to take a jeep tour of the island. Being able to see more of the island and beautiful beaches would be amazing.

Each night after dinner, we were able to enjoy the Las-Vegas style shows with talented dancers and musicians. They dressed up in amazing costumes and were always so fun to watch.  They wowed us each night and even interacted with the crowds.  Getting people to dance and dress-up at times with them.  The shows we went to, at one of the local resorts, was even family friendly as they interacted with the children present also.
