Corned Beef and Cabbage Recipes

It's St. Patrick's Day this weekend!  It's been a tradition in my family to always cook up Corned Beef and Cabbage on this day.  This year, being the first year married, E and I are going to attempt making it ourselves.

Here are some recipes we are tossing around to try:

This first one is from Family Fresh Meals.  It's a slow cooker meal - which I love! This one cooks for 8 hours on low - 4 hours in you add the potatoes and carrots, and when 1 hour is left, you add in the cabbage.  This one might be a winner with E because it involves cooking it in beer - something he loves to do!

Next up are Corned Beef and Cabbage Rolls from Sweet Pea's Kitchen.  These rolls are served with 1000 Island Dressing and look delicious!

This one has to be a good one - from Paula Deen! I think the only thing different I would do is use fresh corned beef rather than canned if we make this one.  But it's a super quick recipe - prep/cook time is only about 45 minutes.  Maybe we'll make this with some of the leftovers!

This last one is a different take on corned beef and cabbage - soup!  This recipe is from Skinnytaste and takes about 4 hours to cook. We do love our soups though!

What are some of your favorite corned beef and cabbage recipes?  Do you have a favorite recipe for those leftovers?
